Log cabin + beach sauna in the Turku archipelago
Description
Atmospheric log cabin with sea view on the shore of the Archipelago Sea. Private beach sauna, jetty and rowboat. A magnificent sea view from the beach. On one side of the cottage is the forest and on the other side is the sea. Good hiking trails, fishing waters and mushroom forests. A lovely place in your own peace and quiet, yet close to services. 40 km from Turku and 1.5 km from Airisto's tourist center. Cleaning and linen are not included in the price. Bring your own linen and clean the cottage when you leave. Final cleaning booked from us is 120€ and linen 13.50€/person. The space Spacious cottage with sea view and open fireplace. Large corner sofa bed (when unfolded, it can accommodate 2 people, it is recommended that only one adult sleeps on the sofa or a couple, because it is not full-width) and a large dining table, where you can even play board games. Two small bedrooms with two separate beds. Water toilet and shower. Well-stocked kitchen. Indoor toilet and shower. On the beach, there is a wood-heated sauna cabin with a dressing room (one bed) and a covered terrace where you can cool off. In winter, the sauna water is carried in a bucket from the cottage. Rowing boat in use. Motor for rent or you can bring your own small motor. Boat with 15hp motor also available for rent. Playhouse and wooden swing in the yard. Large patio with outdoor furniture, sunshade. Barbecue. Laundry facilities (about 200m). Waste collection point about 200m. Guest access The entire cottage is for the guest's use, as well as the beach sauna, playhouse, and wooden swing. In winter (after the arrival of night frosts), the customer must carry the hot/washing water to the beach sauna from the cottage. Other things to note When the night frosts come, the water is cut off from the sauna and the steam and washing water must be carried from the cottage. The cottage has a shower, so you can take a shower there. No loud parties. No loud music outside. Please do not use the neighbor's waste container (small 200l), but use the large 600l waste container about 200m away, which is located in the garbage shed of the neighboring cottage village. Metal and glass collection containers are separate and there is a compost for bio-waste. The cottage is not actually winterized, but the cottage can be warmed up with an air heat pump and by heating the fireplace and with radiators (electric radiators at basic heat in winter, do not cover them). The stove's damper (on the cooker hood, the "stick" is pulled out, so the damper is open) must be open until the embers are completely extinguished. Warning that a forest mouse can get lost in the cottages to escape the cold. They usually leave suddenly when they realize that people are there.
