Margaux is a 1967 Airstream Caravel tucked into a quiet garden in PDX. This is a quiet, romantic garden retreat designed for guests who enjoy slowing down, being present, and experiencing something different from a standard hotel stay. If you appreciate thoughtful details, nature, and a touch of nostalgia, this space is made for you. The space Margaux is a vintage Airstream tucked into our quiet back garden in a vibrant neighborhood in SE Portland. The interior is cozy with a full-size pull-out bed, record player, and thoughtful décor. Outdoor seating and garden areas are available to guests for relaxing, reading, and soaking in the hot tub. The property is shared with us and our dogs, so guests should be comfortable with pets and respecting shared spaces. This is a vintage trailer and wont be the right stay for for everyone. Please look over the listing and be sure you're comfortable with the stay we are providing. Guest access The garden, hot tub, and firepit are available year-round. (You’re responsible for your own wood! ) While this is a shared space, we respect our guests’ privacy and follow your lead. You may see us doing light gardening, home maintenance, or letting the pups out but we always do our best to give you the right of way. Other things to note Shared Spaces & ethics This is a queer household. All are welcome; kindness and respect are required. Intolerance of any kind is not permitted. The neighborhood is active, so some everyday noise is normal. We live here so you may see us in the garden or letting our pets out but we do our best to give you as much space as possible. Guest Policy & Smoking: Only registered Airbnb guests may enter the property. This means the 1-2 people who are staying the night. If you’re interested in inviting a guest to use the hot tub or yard, we change a $10/fee with up to four guests allowed. Smoking is allowed outside only. Bathroom & Kitchen: The kitchen includes a gas range, sink, and mini-fridge; it’s best for light meals. The bathroom is a compact camping style space.
