Welcome to our cozy Hideaway! You will love the proximity to quaint Clarkesville, while being tucked away in your private home, set back from Washington Street. The perfect place to relax after a day of hiking the many nearby waterfalls, fishing the Soque River, tubing the Chattahoochee, sight-seeing or antiquing. Inside, the home welcomes you to share meals, play games, make memories and recharge. We look forward to hosting you and want to help you have a memorable time enjoying NE Georgia. The space Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The playful purple door invites you into this joyful, welcoming home. Stretch out on the supple leather sofa or in the oversized chairs or beanbag while playing games in the heart of the house near the cozy electric fireplace. Retreat to the three private bedrooms to recharge (one bedroom offers a dedicated work space, if needed). In our bathrooms we offer high quality toiletries and eco-friendly, beautiful purple Turkish towels. The comfortable dining room is sure to host many memorable meals, whether cooked in our well appointed kitchen, or brought in from town. Home has 3 smart TVs with Roku and high speed internet access. Soak in the homey, small town vibes. Opportunities to view deer, groundhogs and other wildlife from the property. Guest access All of it! (Except the boring owner’s closets.) Other things to note Dog friendly!- We want you to be able to bring your pooches/doggos/fur babies...with a few caveats: Please bring potty-trained pups only and please ensure that they are crated, or with you when you are not at the house. (Sorry, no cats please.) The house is set back from the road, however the property is not fully fenced. Please keep your dogs leashed and clean up after them. We will provide dog blankets to keep our furniture/linens nice for ALL our guests. :) There is a pet fee, it is $75 for up to two dogs Please reach out to us for any bookings that exceed two dogs. We provide blankets for your well-mannered dogs, as well as a crate, food and water bowls and other goodies. Other policies to note: Please use our (provided) black make up towels for removing makeup. We provide high quality wash cloths, hand towels and body towels and want to keep them nice for you and all of our guests. No smoking or vaping (of anything) in the property. Please also do not smoke near open doors and windows. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your butts. No dyeing hair while at our home. We strongly encourage you to buy travel insurance, things come up that neither of us can plan for. We take pride in our place, and hope you enjoy it and have a great stay. If there is something missing that you feel would make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know. NO Trailers NO RVs We pay our housekeeping a living wage. We do not mark up our cleaning fees- it is a pass through.
