Aromatic cedar, a handmade dining table, a plush queen bed, and a kitchenette provide for cozy glamping comfort. Bright and airy with surrounding windows, LED accent lights, outlets, and limited WiFi. Step outside to enjoy the stars, campfire, an outdoor shower, and friendly farm animals—all just a short drive from Lompoc, the beach, flower fields, and wine country. The space Vintage Glamping Meets Farm Life in “NoWe” Tucked beneath a canopy of ancient oaks and near a stand of tall Monterey pines, NoWe—our lovingly restored 1964 NorthWest camper—is a cozy, vintage escape nestled in a quiet corner of our 40-acre working farm. With handcrafted charm, a plush queen bed, and private outdoor amenities, this retro glamping spot brings together the best of simple living and soulful connection to the land. 🌿 A Peaceful Escape with Private Outdoor Living Your private outdoor area features a fire pit, picnic table, and market lights strung overhead—perfect for morning coffee or stargazing by the fire. Enjoy a rinse in the outdoor shower, clean up in your personal sink, and use the private outdoor toilet. You’ll have parking for two vehicles, a view of the market garden, and frequent visits from the cows as they pass by for milking. 🐄 Up-Close with Farm Life Located right next to the paddock with calves and pigs, NoWe gives you an immersive taste of life on the farm. Watch the morning chores from your picnic table, greet our friendly animals and free-range working farm dogs, or stroll to the farm stand for fresh eggs and veggies. 🛏️ Retro Warmth, Modern Comfort Inside, NoWe is wrapped in aromatic cedar woodwork and filled with natural light. A plush queen bed, handmade dining table, and a cozy Southwestern vibe set the tone. Enjoy cabinet and under-bed storage, a Bluetooth stereo for music, LED accent lighting, and plenty of windows for airflow and views. NoWe's door locks with a twist from the inside but does not lock from the outside. Rest assured—our secluded canyon is incredibly safe, and many guests find peace in leaving things just as they are. 🍳 Glamping-Ready Kitchen The kitchenette includes a 3-burner propane stove and oven (lit by a pil, a coffee press, mugs, cookware, and utensils. Outside, you’ll find a small charcoal grill for open-air cooking and full access to our honor-system farm stand stocked with produce, firewood, s’mores kits, handmade soaps, merch, and more. 📶 Lightly Connected Living Wi-Fi is available, and can be reliable but imperfect. Cell reception can be spotty—an intentional invitation to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the rhythm of the farm. Read, rest, or simply watch the breeze through the pines. 📍 Close to Wine Country, Beaches & More Though it feels far from it all, NoWe is just a short drive from Lompoc, the beach, flower fields, and wine country. Whether you’re road-tripping, escaping for the weekend, or seeking a quiet solo retreat, NoWe offers rustic comfort, natural beauty, and a rare kind of peace. 🧑🌾A Note About the Farm Experience: Staying on a working farm means getting the luxury of farm life without the chores—but with a few rustic realities. Our water comes from a natural well and may have slight discoloration, though we provide filtered water for drinking. You might notice some dust, the occasional bug, bird nests, or wildlife sounds such as fox calls in the distance. The road is paved almost all the way to the farm, then very well-maintained dirt roads upon turning in. It's dark here, and we recommend arriving during the day for ease of finding your stay, though the camper sign is lit up at night. It’s all part of the charm, and we hope it adds to your connection with nature during your stay. 🐾 Pet-Friendly We welcome well-behaved pets with a small fee per pet (added at booking), to help keep our space clean and cozy for all. Pets must be on a leash when outside. 🕰️ Optional Add-Ons for Comfort & Convenience Early check-in and late check-out are available through your guest portal and handled via Airbnb’s Resolution Center. Hosted by Dare 2 Dream Farms 🧑🌾 Guest access The camper, firepit, outdoor bathhouse, outdoor toilet, and parking area are private, but within close proximity to areas of the working farm like the garden and pasture. Enjoy a walk around the farm to view the garden and animals. Self-check-in: the door will be unlocked. The space is stocked with essentials to help you settle in and enjoy your stay. The landscaper comes on Saturdays or Sundays. Other things to note Lompoc is the best vantage point on the West Coast for viewing the stellar rocket launches by NASA and SpaceX from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Missile launch days and times are released several days in advance and are subject to change based on weather conditions and/or mechanical challenges. Once booked, we'll provide you with all the details you need in your guest portal for checking launch schedules! The camper does not have A/C or a refrigerator. An ice chest is available for use. There are outlets for charging devices, but the system won't support hair dryers, straighteners, power tools, or any other high draws. WE HAVE WIFI, but it is limited, and cell service is spotty. Enjoy being unplugged for a bit. Your soul and mind will thank you. THERE ARE DOGS ON THE FARM. They will come say Hi. They will bark when you drive up. They are all friendly. TO START A FIRE: You will need a lighter or matches, kindling and firewood. We try to keep all of these items in stock at the farm stand for sale, but cannot guarantee their availability. TOILETS The porta-potty toilet is private and is cleaned thoroughly on a bi-weekly basis; however, it is not emptied after every stay. It is not a flushing toilet. SETTING EXPECTATIONS We are in the country. There are bugs, wildlife, and dust. There is a chance of seeing wildlife during the day or at night. They will rarely approach or even be seen. Do not be alarmed.
