This charming Grade II listed cottage is set in the heart of the popular village of Shenstone, with 3 pubs and a train station all within a 5-minute walk! Birmingham New Street Station is a 25 minute train ride away and Lichfield is 5 minutes. The NEC is 25 minutes by car and we are also well-located for Drayton Manor, West Midlands Safari Park, Cannock Chase (Forestry England site), Sutton Park, the Peak District, The National Arboretum, The Belfry Golf course and Birmingham Christmas Market. The space Although it looks like two houses, what you see in the cover photograph is all one house. Claridge Cottage has ample living space on the ground floor, with a good sized dining kitchen, large main lounge (with fireplace, TV and DVD player), small snug (including a double sofa bed and TV with Wii), large dining room (with piano), utility area and downstairs toilet. The three double bedrooms are all a good size (one with a TV). Two bedrooms and the main bathroom are accessible via a winding staircase, with one bedroom and the bathroom on the first floor and the other bedroom on the second floor. The main bedroom and shower room is accessible via a separate staircase. Please note that the stairwell to the second floor and some of the doorways in the older part of the house are quite low, and the bedroom on the second floor is only heated by an electric heater. There is ample space outside with a large driveway and parking for several cars. The mature garden is large and private, and includes a patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a BBQ. There is also a covered porch area to the rear of the property and a set of swings. Loungers are also available to use should guests wish to relax in the garden. Guest access Guests are able to access all of the property except the conservatory and the garage.
