The Property is an amazing camping retreat on 3 acres in central Oregon near the Metolius River - perfect for summer sun, mountain air, and some of the most pristine & beautiful rivers & lakes for nature enthusiasts & anglers alike. Bring your family and friends and your RV, tent, or hammock to enjoy this one-of-a-kind outdoor paradise. The Property is an immense piece of private property best experienced outside in the amazing sun and air of Central Oregon. The creek and the river will draw you to enjoy the peace and relaxation in this secluded retreat. The river is Lake Creek, the alpine river exiting Suttle Lake from 5 miles away - arriving crisp and clear at the Property with over 200 feet of private, river front access. Lake Creek empties into the world famous Metolius River just 100 yards downstream and is visible from The Property. For some visits the entire campsite will be yours. There are two RVs on site but they will not likely have any visitors during your stay. If so, we hope you can enjoy the expansive outdoor area without issue. We are not on site at this location, but we will have family nearby who can help in an emergency. As a note, there is no cell service here, but there is high speed internet over wi-fi. A quiet, rural setting of small cabins and vacation homes with courteous neighbors expecting the same in return. Very few cars on this private road so very walkable to the Metolius River with its riverside trails just 0.2 miles away and a gravel road to the Camp Sherman store just 0.6 miles away. Drive, bike, run, or walk along trails and gravel roads along the river or to the world famous Camp Sherman store just half a mile from The Property If you are bringing an RV there is a basic, 15A electrical connection and fresh water, but there is no dumping on site, so you will need to take any gray or black water waste with you.
