We recently re-did the bedroom and photos have been updated. In addition to the super comfy bed with over the headboard reading lights, touch activated standing lamp, love seat, dresser, flat screen TV, and a nice desk and chair for study/work. Additionally, there is private closet for hanging clothes and storing luggage, etc. The TV has its own DVR for recording shows, so if you have a favorite program you don't want to miss, we have you covered. All of this; bedroom, bath, and closet are behind your own door. Wireless internet is powered by Verizon FIOS and it's crazy fast (for the techie, 50+ mgps down, 50+ mgps up). Per our main description, we are right in the heart of Tyson's with easy access to the Orange & Silver Lines on the Metro along with lots of shopping and restaurants. Access to 495, 66, and rt 7 are super close - literally just minutes away. Note: Because this is a guest room (no private kitchenette or separate entry) within a private house where the hosts also live "on site," kitchen use is limited to hot water, water, quick microwave, and storing small amounts of left over food (from eating out, etc) Guest access -modern kitchen for microwave, hot water, water only. No food prep. -world class drinking water filter -washer & dryer ($5 fee per load) -free on street parking During your stay Host & husband truly enjoy meeting new people and providing a great bnb experience. While we enjoy conversation, we are not intrusive and will give you plenty of space to do your thing.
