We welcome families and their furry friends with open arms. Nestled on the banks of a gentle stream, our campsite offers over six acres of spacious pitches and a village pub a 2 minutes’ walk away. Please note: you must BRING YOUR OWN TENT. Whether you're exploring old railway lines or discovering charming village pubs, Arthingworth Camping has something for everyone. And if you just want to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, our campsite is perfect for that too! And for those who love a good local pub, there’s one just a two-minute walk away! Back to Basics – With a Twist We believe in the beauty of simplicity. Our campsite features brand new composting toilet facilities and cold drinking water stations to get you ready for those countryside adventures starting right from the site. While we don’t have hot water or shower facilities, we promise the stunning scenery and peaceful ambiance make up for it. Campfire and BBQ Fun What’s camping without a campfire? At Arthingworth, you can enjoy fires and BBQs as long as they’re raised off the ground. We have fire bowls available for hire and you can pick up logs and other farm treats from our on-site pantry. Perfect for those cozy nights under the stars! Our On-Site Pantry Don't miss a visit to our charming on-site pantry! We offer a delightful selection of farm-fresh eggs and delicious honey produced right here. You can also find logs and kindling, all sustainably sourced from our land, perfect for your campfires. For a touch of sweetness, we have marshmallows and an array of sweet treats. Plus, we stock essential camping supplies like matches and firelighters to make your stay even more enjoyable. Explore and Indulge Fancy something stronger? A local pub is just a stone’s throw away, (2 minute walk), with two more pubs and Warner's Distillery a 30-minute stroll or a five-minute drive away. Cycling and Walking Adventures Love cycling? A five-minute bike ride or a 10-minute walk will take you to the atmospheric Kelmarsh Tunnel and the Brampton Valley Way, a traffic-free 14-mile route along a disused railway. Dog owners will love our variety of road-free walks starting right from the site – we’ve got all the info on our favorite routes ready for you. Unspoiled Countryside Set in six acres of pristine countryside, guests have access to the entire site. There’s a small wooded area to explore and a private path that leads directly to a bridleway, branching into several walking trails. You don’t need to walk along any roads to start your adventures! Arrival and Parking To keep our campsite wild and family-friendly, we ask that you park in the designated car park upon arrival. We provide off-road trolleys and wheelbarrows to help you transport your gear to your pitch. Guest access Set in six acres of unspoilt countryside, guests have access to the entire site, (of course being mindful of other peoples pitches!). There is a large pitch free area for family activities and ball games, as well as a small wooded area to explore. A private path takes you directly from the site to a bridleway that splits into a number of walks, meaning you don't have to walk along any roads to start your adventures! Please note, on arrival, please park within the designated car park – we do not allow cars to drive to the pitches to help maintain our wild site and be truly family friendly. We have a number of off road trolleys and wheelbarrows available to use. Other things to note This is a wild camp site. Guests will need to bring their own tent to the campsite. When you arrive, please park in the designated car park. Due to the nature of our site, cars are NOT allowed to drive to the pitches. We have wheelbarrows available at the entrance for your convenience. You have a choice of pitches, ranging from 5m from the car park to 200m depending on your preference.
