Bright and cozy 5th-wheel close to the lake!

Reconnect with nature and peace at this unique camping-style escape just 10 minutes North of Nelson. Enjoy a fully equipped 23 foot 5th wheel set up in a serviced location in our private backyard. Located within walking distance to beautiful Lower 6 Mile Beach, this home-like RV is minutes to many hiking trails, back country adventures, Ainsworth, and a convenience store. The space The trailer is in a private corner of our tidy property on a serviced crush rock pad, close to our house but you will have ample privacy. The backyard is peaceful and private, with shade from big trees and fresh air. Sitting under the trailer's awning with a cold drink feels just like camping. A small fire pit and firewood is provided and may be used as long as campfires are permitted in our area. The trailer itself is 23 feet long with no slide outs. The fold down beds are small. The bathroom and shower in particular are quite small. I want guests to know this to prevent any disappointment upon arrival. The idea is to have a camping-like experience, and it is absolutely perfect for that. Our happiest guests are the ones who are familiar with RV living and understand the quaintness of this set up. Snug and cozy, the trailer is super clean, bright, well vented, and fully stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, bedding, towels, beach towels, dish soap, etc. We are always close by to assist. If you need anything just ask! Our chickens are right behind the trailer, amusing in their antics. We have a rooster who will give the morning call, adding to the country feel of your stay. There are soft earplugs in the bathroom cabinet if you find he disturbs your morning sleep. Guest access You will have your own parking and entrance to the trailer. Please follow check in instructions for clarification. The trailer is tucked at the back of the property, excellent for privacy but tricky to find. Message me when you arrive if you need help. We welcome you to explore the very walkable neighborhood we have. There are 3 ways to access the lake that are all within a short distance. - Lower 6 Mile beach, about 5 minutes away, has a large span of wonderful clean sand and the water is refreshingly cold. There is an undertow off the tip of the sandbar however, so please stay away from the end. - We have a boat launch directly across the road. - And we also have a pier style dock at McDonalds Landing which is a 7 minute walk away. Perfect to take your morning coffee, sit on the little bench there, and watch the sunrise. Local shopping: I make natural soaps and other body care items, and have a small soap-stand in my driveway where these things can be purchased. We have a local convenience store nearby, open 12-6pm daily with basic groceries and alcohol. Our neighbours beside us have a farm-stand, well stocked with fresh eggs and sometimes honey. Other things to note We are on a septic system, so please do not flush feminine products or any “flushable” wipes. Only toilet paper please. I do not use strong scented cleaners or detergents in the trailer. The furnace, hot water, stove, and oven run on propane only. A lighter is used to light the stove for cooking. A small BBQ is also provided for guest use. Pets are welcome, but are expected to be kept on leash on the property at all times, and never left alone in the trailer. Please bring your own pet bedding. Also, my partner and I are avid motorcycle riders. We ride street, track, dirt, and snow. We have extensive knowledge about areas to ride, and would love to connect with fellow riders. An added bonus is my partner is a motorcycle mechanic with his own shop about 200m away.
