From our house, directly enjoy lovely sunrises and magnificent sunsets, with the soothing sounds of the waves. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but expect that you will leave the house as clean as when you received it, including taking your trash and recyclables to the appropriate cans, put all used linens and towels in the laundry room, put dirty dishes into the dishwasher and run it, etc. If the house is not left clean or if there are damages or missing items, money will be taken from your security deposit which is on deposit with Airbnb. Please just clean up after yourself and we will all be happy. The house is directly on Lake Ontario and Canada is across the lake - because of that, at various times your cell phones may or may not work at the house, depending on if the cell signal pings to the USA or to Canadian cell towers - sometimes they will work and then ten minutes later will not work - but if you walk or drive one block up away from the water, your cell phone will work - there is nothing that we can do about this as we are at an International Border and it is a cell tower issue; however, the WIFI at the house always does work - no problem with WIFI so you will always have access to email, social media, etc. There are full sized computers and printers at the very well stocked public library in town. The house is located on the Niagara Wine Trail in the quiet, peaceful, boating community of Wilson, NY, near NIAGARA FALLS, USA, near the new AMAZON DISTRIBUTION CENTER, near restaurants, wineries, breweries, small shops, post office, library, state parks, walking trails, etc. Drive west on coastal route 18 to Youngstown, Lewiston, and Niagara Falls, and drive east along the coast to Olcott, Sodus Point, Rochester, etc. You will need to drive to major stores , grocery store, or restaurants as the small town boasts small independently owned businesses. This house is approximately a 45 minute drive to Buffalo, NY. The nearest Mall is approximately 20 minutes away in Niagara Falls, NY USA (only small shops near to this house). *HOUSE RULES*: Only those named on the reservation are allowed to be in the house, or on the property, and you must leave immediately if you fail to adhere to this rule - occupancy of up to four (no more than 3 adults) will be strictly enforced. Additional rules 1. Occupancy is strictly enforced; only the number of guests named on the reservation will be allowed to stay. NO PARTIES, NO EVENTS, NO PETS. 2. Please be respectful by not giving your unique key code to anyone who is not on the reservation, and by not leaving the door unlocked while you are away sight-seeing. If anyone not on the reservation is staying in the house, you will be in violation of the rental agreement and you will be asked to immediately leave and will not be given a refund for unused days. 3. The house sits on a cliff, waterfront, on Lake Ontario. Absolutely NO one is allowed to use the steps or to climb down the rocks to the water. It is unsafe to do so and it is forbidden to do so. Children or those with unstable footing must be watched at all times. The tenant assumes all responsibility for their actions. Lake access is safely allowed about 1 mile away at the Wilson-Tuscorara State Park where you will find a beach area and water access. You will be asked to leave our house if you trespass onto the shoreline rocks or steps, and you will not be given a refund for any unused days. 4. With all shoreline waterfront lake houses, there will occasionally be a few harmless spiders or bugs. We thoroughly clean and vacuum every nook and cranny of the house before you check in; how a spider or bug may get in. Do not open windows unless the screen is in place. Booking a stay in this house means that you accept the fact that you might see a harmless spider or small bug in the house. Outside you may see birds, spiders, a squirrel, mosquitos etc. but they are all harmless. 5. We present you with an immaculately clean house; please give it back to us in the same fashion - please take your trash and recyclables to the appropriate outside cans and keep the lids on tightly; please use the dishwasher for all dishes and pans; please do not wear shoes in the house - bring your house slippers; please wipe down the shower/tub area and remove drain hair; please do not leave unopened food - please throw it out; please take all of the bed linens, towels, and any used blankets into the laundry room so they can be washed; WE DO NOT CHARGE AN INITIAL CLEANING FEE, and expect that guests will respectfully leave the house in the same clean fashion as when they arrived. Also, no smoking or vaping in the house; no frying foods, no cleaning fish, no drones; and no climbing on the anchor rocks or down the cliff. 6. Please park your vehicle(s) only on the gravel/stone area, NOT on the grass as the water lines are under the grass and the weight of your vehicle could damage them. 7. The house is on a septic system (all waterfront houses in the area are) - if there is rain, then the ground water table will become full and make the flush of the toilet or the draining of the sink or shower slow. At all times, please use toilet paper sparingly and take shorter showers, keeps the septic system from getting too full, thank you. 8.
