Tucked away in the Whispering Aspens community, you’ll be surrounded by the Aspen trees in a friendly, tight-knit neighborhood of tiny homes, log cabins, and park model trailers /RV's in close proximity. ​ ​Main Floor: Private bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom with bathtub. A tankless water heater for infinite hot water for your showers. ​The upstairs Loft: A cozy "bonus" space that sleeps 3 (one double bed and one single bed). ​Note: The loft features low 4ft ceilings and a low railing—perfect for a snug sleeping nook!​ The loft is accessed via a narrow staircase and overlooks the living area. ⚠️Supervision is required for young children to ensure safety around the stairs and low railings. ​Chef’s Tiny Kitchen: ​Unlike many tiny homes, we offer a fully equipped space to cook real meals: ​Gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. ​Auto-drip coffee maker with coffee filters and coffee included. ​Seating for 6 (4-person dining table + 2 bar stools). ​The Neighborhood: ​We are part of a unique, welcoming community where neighbors are close by. This isn't a secluded woods-only retreat, but a vibrant village-style setting where you can enjoy the mountains alongside fellow adventurers and locals. Proximity Guide: ​Breckenridge: 35 mins ​Kenosha Pass: 30 mins ​Buena Vista: 45 mins ​Copper/A-Basin: ~1 hour Guest access ​ ​Take in the fresh mountain air from your wrap-around deck, featuring a full outdoor dining table for meals in the unfenced backyard. ​Mountain Yoga: Two yoga mats are provided—perfect for a morning stretch among the aspens. ​⚠️ Important Notes ​Grilling & Fire Pit: The grill and fire pit at the cabin are currently out of order. ​Please enjoy the shared grills at the community clubhouse, just a short, scenic walk (under 5 minutes) from your front door. ​Neighborhood Growth: Whispering Aspens is a growing community! You may hear some daytime construction noise during your stay as new tiny homes are being added to the neighborhood. Other things to note ​Capacity: Max of 5 guests (up to 4 adults/1 child). ​Parking: Room for 2 cars in the front driveway. Strictly no street parking. ​Winter Travel: AWD vehicle required during winter months. ​High Altitude (10k ft): Stay hydrated and dress in layers! ​🐾 Pet Policy ​Dogs Welcome: One (1) small, house-trained dog allowed ($55 fee). Please ask if you have more than one small dog for an additional pet fee. Please keep pups leashed when outside. Do not leave unattended in the cabin. No cats allowed. ​Dog Park: Enjoy the fenced dog park located behind the neighborhood clubhouse! Please ask if you need directions to the clubhouse. ​🌡️ Climate & Comfort ​Cooling: Like most mountain homes, we do not have A/C. The average summer high in Fairplay is a comfy 70 degrees with even cooler nights. Feel free to use the provided fans and screened doors to enjoy the crisp mountain air. ​Heating: Radiant wall heat + portable heaters and a gas fireplace for cozy winter stays.
