1950s Charmer Close to UW
1950s Charmer Close to UW
Description
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Take a ride down Thornburgh Drive and find this cute little remodeled 1950s home located right between beautiful La Prele and Washington Parks. It is within walking distance by just a few blocks to either of the parks, the movie theater, and the University of Wyoming. Coming for a football game? You can easily walk to the stadium in just a few minutes, or enjoy any of the events that the Laramie area has to offer throughout the year. The space This is an older home, so there are some quirks. The bedrooms have the original glass doorknobs with no lock. The doorknob on the closet in the big bedroom comes apart if pulled too hard, so just be careful. Some of the wood floors squeak too. The old concrete in the driveway has settled in such a way that it causes parts of the garage to flood with heavy rains or snowmelt, so please be aware of that. Also, there are four security cameras on the premises outside. The washer and dryer are available for use in the basement. It has a separate entry—go into the garage through the kitchen door, and down the steps immediately to the right. Be sure to flip the light on so you can see going down there. Please also pull the basement door shut all the way every time, sometimes you have to pull/push hard. Thank you! Guest access You can go into the backyard through the kitchen door that goes through the garage. Just be careful of the stairs to the right that go to the basement. The basement is not available for use by guests, other than the laundry area. Other things to note There will be two keys available that go to the front door and kitchen door. The same key operates both doors. The front walk-through garage door is old and does not latch all the way. I will send you a WiFi password on the day of your arrival.
