Hidden gem of the Eastern Shore on Gravelly Creek
Experience a lesser-known area of the Delmarva Peninsula. Relax on a quiet stretch of Gravelly Creek, a tributary of the beautiful Nanticoke River. Explore the scenic ecosystem in a kayak or canoe. Discover secluded fishing and swimming holes and enjoy nature on the private dock. BBQ on the back porch and roast up s'mores in the fire pit. Retire to the basement for ping-pong or a movie night and get a workout in the home gym in the morning. And only a 45 minute drive to the beach! Small home, but everything you need for a vacation on the river. Located in a quiet family neighborhood. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful but will definitely not bother you. You will have the entire property! There are kayaks and life jackets available for use. If you own a boat, feel free to bring it! We always use the Seaford boat ramp, it's easy and free! The canoe and kayaks will need to be lowered into the water and then brought back out of the water after use. The easiest way to do this is at the right side of the dock. There is a step to use, but be careful as it does get slippery. Please reach out to me if you'd like any type of suggestions! Directions, things to do in the area, or anything else. The neighbors are almost always around and very friendly. We have a great relationship with all of our neighbors and they have all lived there for many years. You may see them on the river or taking a walk. They are all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Please do not park on the grass. We have a long horseshoe driveway, so you don't ever need to back up, although you can definitely park in front of the garage if you'd like.
