The space The property is nicely shielded and you have the entire courtyard to yourself. The cabin is well equipped and maintains a high standard. The buildings on the embankment have fixtures from long ago, so here you can get a small glimpse into the past. Just go into the houses and take a look. In the yard there is also an Espegard fire pan that can be used for barbecues in summer and winter. From the trails, you can reach the entire Golsfjellet, but also the illuminated trails nearby. The lake can also be used for ice skating, when it is frozen. Golsfjellet is an excellent winter destination! A hundred metres from the cabin you will find beautiful ski trails connected to Golsfjellet's 330 km long trail network. Here, only your fitness limits you! The trails stretch from illuminated trails at the ski stadium (Solseter), to high mountains and wide landscapes with 360-degree views of, for example, Jotunheimen, Hallingskarvet and Hemsedal. Need a sledge for the trip? Rental on request. Less than 10 minutes from the cabin you will find two family-friendly ski resorts (Bualie and Storefjell Hotel) with a cosy café and a warm room. For larger alpine facilities, we recommend Gol Ski Resort (17 min.) or Hemsedal Ski Resort (37 min.) Summer: There is a separate small pond right by the cabin, where you can enjoy the summer with swimming and a small rowboat at your disposal. Golsfjellet has an extensive cycling and hiking trail network with opportunities to walk and cycle long and varied tours on alpine roads and adapted cycling trails. Both electric and trail bikes can be rented from nearby hotels. You can enjoy yourself for a long time at Golsfjellet, but it is also very centrally located for day trips throughout Hallingdal and Valdres. If you want to swim or fish, there are several good fishing waters on the mountain and in the Hallingdalselva down in the valley.
