Our cosy 60sqm seaside home in the Cotentin is perfect to slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Ideal for up to 4 guests — especially couples with 2 young children — it offers a peaceful setting, a terrace to enjoy outdoor moments, with the beach, scenic coastal walks, and local markets just nearby. The space Our cosy 60 sqm seaside home is designed for comfort, light, and easy living, with an additional 15 sqm terrace to fully enjoy the coastal setting. As you enter, you’ll find a welcoming hallway with storage, a wardrobe, and hangers — perfect for settling in. The heart of the home is a bright and spacious living area with a dining space and a fully equipped open kitchen, including a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning coffee. Large sliding windows open directly onto the terrace, offering beautiful views of the coast and beach, with electric curtains for added comfort. A short corridor leads to the sleeping area and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. You’ll also find: - A separate toilet - A modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower, heated towel rack, and a spacious cabinet for your toiletries Bedroom 1 A comfortable queen-size bed, bedside tables, a large wardrobe, and a small desk area — ideal for relaxing or working quietly. Bedroom 2 Perfect for children or friends, with bunk beds (2 singles), an additional single bed, and a practical wardrobe. A selection of books, toys, and board games (in English and French) is available. A baby travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Outdoor space A terrace running along the apartment — ideal for a morning coffee, relaxing in the sun, or unwinding after a day at the beach. The space is fully enclosed and secure, making it safe for children. It is located next to a local road (50 km/h), which remains quiet most of the day, with slightly more activity during peak hours. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment and its private terrace. We live next door, and there is a connecting door between the two properties, which will remain closed throughout your stay to ensure your privacy. We will be happy to welcome you in person from 4:00 PM. In case of a late arrival, a secure key box is available and the access code will be shared with you in advance. Other things to note Ideal for up to 4 guests (1 couple + 2 children). The top bunk bed is not suitable for children under 5 years old or over 50 kg. A foldable baby cot and high chair are available upon request. An extra guest (ideally a child) can be accommodated using the additional single bed in the second bedroom (190 x 90 cm). A selection of toys (Lego, Barbies, Playmobil, soft toys, dolls), board games (Monopoly, Scrabble, etc.), and children’s books in French and English are available. The beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Two restaurants are within walking distance: La Maison Rouge and a seasonal pizzeria located at the nearby campsite (open during high season). A bus stop is located right in front of the house, with hourly connections to Cherbourg. A Carrefour Contact supermarket (with bakery and pharmacy) is a 5–10 minute drive away.
