Private Entrance 1-bed 1-bath with Kitchenette
Description
Perfect location for travelers—close to I-15 and Highway 6/89. Quiet community not meant for loud parties. Private entrance 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom located in a family home with young kids, including an infant. You may hear noise from us sporadically but mostly if we are downstairs. Has everything needed for your trip—USB port lamps, sound machine, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, paper products, desk/table and chairs, washer, dryer, and on-street parking. Yard is messy due to spouse’s projects The space Guests park in front on the house on the street. They access their room from a door located at the back of the house and down a set of stairs. To reach the backyard, they can go through the carport. The concrete has a small step down after passing through. The door is to the far left after going through the carport. Guests can enter by punching their code on the keypad. When entering, there is a small hallway with a tray for shoes. The door on the right leads to the bedroom. The bedroom contains a queen bed with a nightstand and lamp containing USB ports on either side of the bed in addition to a sound machine on one side. The closet has a fold down table and two chairs that can be used for work or eating. The closet also contains a fan and heater to allow more control of the temperature within the room since we have central air and heating. To the side of the closet is a shelf containing a mini fridge with a small freezer section, a microwave, and a Keurig machine. Also available are paper plates, paper bowls, plastic forks, plastic spoons, plastic cups, styrofoam cups, and paper towels. Across the hallway (door on the left when first entering), is the bathroom/laundry room. The bathroom contains a walk-in shower, no bath tub. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are available. Both bathroom and bedroom have locking doors. Straight down the hallway, there is a supply closet with the door beyond dead bolted as it leads to the main house. We have attempted to sound proof the door, but some sounds from our family can still be heard on occasion. Our yard is not pretty. My husband has too many projects going on at once, but we are working on it! Other things to note We have an infant in the home, but she doesn’t sleep above the Airbnb room anymore. She sleeps mostly through the night and crying rarely happens (and isn’t likely to be heard) but could be an issue for light sleepers if she has a rough night or if guests are sensitive to sound of movement (a floorboard creak or toilet flushing) during the night. A sound machine is provided in the bedroom to help block out any noise.
