Comfortable spacious detached Highland cottage close to Cromarty Firth 17 miles north of Inverness (45mins drive Airport). 10min walk to Bus stop/3 miles to railway station. Great location from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. Lovely place to relax. Fantastic south facing wild garden bordered by a burn (stream) with quiet corners and a Hobbit Hut! 3 double bedrooms, 1 single plus a double sofa bed in the larger of 2 living rooms. The space The house was extended in 2003, adding to the original 120-year-old cottage. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs and a 4th bedroom on the ground floor, off a small living room which has a stove, normally used in the colder months. There is a large living room at the front of the house. One of the upstairs bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom with shower, while the large bathroom downstairs has a shower and a jacuzzi bath. Other things to note The house has oil-fired central heating and hot water, operated from a switching system on the kitchen wall. There is also an immersion switch in the kitchen for additional hot water and an oil-fired Rayburn, normally only used in the colder months.
