Charming home, Shasta-Hanchett Park, Central SJ

The charming space is in the Shasta Hanchett Park neighborhood of Central San Jose's Rose Garden area. Gorgeous hardwood floors, stainless appliances, washer/dryer and comfortable furnishings make this cottage-style space feel like home. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom being very small. The location is about 1.2 mi to Diridon Station/SAP Ctr, 1.3 mi to San Jose Convention Ctr, 1.3 mi to Santa Clara University, 2 mi to San Jose Airport, with easy access to freeways. The space Please read all of the listing including “other things to note”. Home is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, mixer, soaps, shampoo, laundry and dishwasher detergents, towels and bedding. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with plush, but firm, pillow top mattress. There is a small 2nd bedroom also, with a queen size bed and closet. Kitchen has granite counters, full-size stainless appliances and water-saving front-load washer, dryer. The living/dining rooms are furnished with a comfortable sofa and 2 chairs, dining table with 4 chairs, and a 50" LED Smart TV w/digital antenna and DVD player. WiFi works well. Use your own Netflix and Host's Prime Video. This home is the front of a duplex. Host lives in back part of duplex and the front faces the front garden (in photos). Each has its own front and back doors. Guest access Guests will be checked in by host, if available. Otherwise there is a key box with door keys. If using the key box I will text the code to guest(s) the day of arrival. Please let host know your expected arrival time. Other things to note Please inquire for extra person or other special requests. An extra person may be acceptable but you'll need to inquire before booking. An extra $10/night will be charged for 3rd person, including children (12 years + only). For a longer term stay (summer internships incl) it’s limited to 2 people. If you lose a key please have one made and remember to put the keys back in the key box unless you give them to me directly. Open to rentals for 31+ nights. For 31 nights there is no occupancy tax added. If you want to stay more than one month, you may opt to reserve 31 nights to start, then we can extend if it works for guests and host. Please inquire if you want a shorter stay in the near future and the minimum nights doesn't allow you to reserve it. If calendar is not open for the length of stay you want, please inquire. Host may change the minimum nights. Rental for adults and children (~12+) The home is not "child-proofed" for safety, and small children usually can be heard running on the wood floors from next door. No Pets, No smoking (of any substance on property), No vaping and No drugs Smoke-free property; Please do not smoke on property. Non-smokers preferred.
