Many of our guests have mentioned enjoying starting and ending their day in this flowering peaceful oasis. Dennis and I sit on the porch sipping coffee most every morning we’re home, spring through fall, and enjoy wine, dinners, and conversation on the patio in the evening. We have solar lights that make our back garden feel magical in the evening, a wind sculpture by artist Lyman Whitaker, and bountiful colorful flowers, birds, and butterflies during the day. There are endless walks and drives right here in our neighborhood and along the seacoast. From expansive beaches to historic homes to gourmet restaurants to our vibrant arts and music center …there is so much to enjoy. We try to be energy efficient and have a full array of solar panels (tied to the grid so you always have full electricity) and a Level 2 charge station for electric vehicles. We offer Body Spa and Eco toiletries and Myers cleaning products. Two of our bedrooms have queen beds and AC. One has solid cherry furniture for your use (upstairs) and the other has lovely garden views (downstairs). A third bedroom (downstairs) has a new full-sized bed with a new mattress and en-suite bath and bathtub, a bookshelf and reading loveseat and AC. The owner calls this her writing room and used it to pen a bestselling novel. It can also also accommodate an Innex Queen Ultra Plush plug-in mattress, or a child's twin mattress as a fifth bed if needed. The fourth bedroom (upstairs) can serve as an office or bedroom with a full sofa bed and AC with a computer, record player and large speakers. All of the bedrooms have AC, as does the living room. We have beautiful gardens and a gardener who comes for 2 hours/week in July and August, She doesn't come inside the house or on the screened porch. She works on the gardens around the outside patio and at times accesses the garage. She's a lovely, high-integrity woman and tries her best to be non intrusive while keeping the gardens bountiful. We also have a wonderful quiet tenant who lives in a separate apartment above our garage. He has his own entrance and driveway. We do consider special requests—please don't hesitate to ask.
