Welcome to Bayview Garden a casual, elegant family home on the historic Talbot Trail overlooking beautiful Long Point Bay. You'll enjoy panoramic garden and water views from the covered wrap-around front porch and guest bedrooms. A protective, friendly Labrador Retriever dog lives here. This home is a short walk to downtown Port Rowan, about a 10 minute drive to Long Point and a 15-20 minute drive to Turkey Point. The space This is a spacious, comfortable home on a large property. There are two private guest bedrooms, Bayview Garden 1 (this listing) and Bayview Garden 2 (a separate listing) that are accessed by a grand staircase with 18 steps and one handrail to the second floor. Both have a full solid wood door to ensure your privacy. This listing, Bayview Garden 1, is the burgundy bedroom and has a queen-size bed. It is available only when your group wants to book two private bedrooms (maximum 4 guests). Please send me an inquiry. Both guest bedrooms are equally spacious and include their own sitting area, luxury mattress and bed linens, room darkening window blinds, and water and garden views. Two comfortable sitting areas, located outside the guest bedrooms are ideal for reading, socializing and lounging. A large luxurious bathroom features a separate full shower, soaker tub and spa-quality bath linens and products. It is dedicated for guest use and is shared with a maximum of 2 other guests, when both bedrooms are booked. Guests have access to a small refrigerator, and self-serve coffee and tea station in the main floor kitchen. Guest access A semi-circular driveway brings guests to the front door for check-in. Since this is a private family home guests are greeted by the host. Entry into and exit from the house is through the front door. Guests are asked to remove outdoor footwear on entry to the house. A shoe/boot tray is provided inside the front door. A covered wrap-around porch with sitting areas is available for you to relax and enjoy the water and garden views. During the warm weather the porch has an outdoor dining table that seats up to four people. Additional outdoor seating can be made available on the front side lawn which is shaded by two mature trees. A fire pit with seating is on the side lawn. Overnight parking is behind the house, adjacent to the garage. If you're looking for a secure space to store bicycles ask the host for access to the locked garage. During your stay Bayview Garden is a spacious, comfortable family home. The host, her husband and family dog live on site. The host's private space is on the main floor. The host is available in person or by text message and can offer suggestions for things to do in the area and dining options. Other things to note Breakfast is included with your stay. In the summer and early fall it's served on the covered front porch, overlooking Long Point Bay. Otherwise it's served in the dining room on the main floor.
