Other things to note The Heron is located 5 miles form the Highlands. There is Cabelas/Bass Pro, Starbucks, Shopping, movies, and many restaurants. While you're here we are 15-20 mins. from two very beautiful parks. (Wheeling Park and Oglebay) both offer fun things to do; trails, play grounds, pools and golf. There is few good stops in Wheeling as well; (Center Market) antiques, bakery, food, and brewery. And for you history folks lots of sites to see in Wheeling ; a few are West Virginia Independence Hall ,First State capital statue, and Suspension bridge.
