The space Butler's Landing sits on a large, peaceful 2.5 acre lot just 6 miles from Ellison Bay or 12 miles from downtown Sister Bay. You're minutes from Door County favorites like Uncle Tom's Candy Store (chocolate!), Bea's Ho-Made (pies!), Charlie's Smokehouse (smoked fish!), Mink River Basin (local hangout with extensive whiskey & draft beer lists!) and Newport State Park - Wisconsin's only designated Dark Sky Park. If a trip to Washington Island is part of your Door County plans, Butler's Landing is perfectly situated for you - just drive a few hundred yards down the road. Or, leave your car, stroll down to the ferry, and have a blast renting bikes, mopeds, or UTV's when you dock at the island. On the first floor, you'll find a large kitchen, spacious family room with bar seating, sitting room, dining room, half bath, laundry room, and arcade room. In the fully-stocked kitchen, you'll find plenty of space with everything you need to prepare meals, seating at the island and table, a smart TV, and a tea & coffee station. The family room is a great place to gather for happy hour, watch a movie or game, or enjoy a board game. A large deck overlooks the backyard, and can be accessed from either the kitchen or family room. There, you can relax on one of the lounge chairs or enjoy a meal at the patio dining set. With plenty of sun, this deck is the place to soak up rays. The sitting room is a cozy space to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. In the arcade room, everyone can try their skills at a variety of classic games like Pong, Pac Man, The Simpsons, Pinball, and more. On the second floor, you'll find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite has a king-sized bed, two closets, smart TV and blackout curtains. The master bath features a marble tiled shower with frameless glass enclosure. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen-sized bed, large closet, blackout curtains, smart TV, and double windows overlooking the backyard. The third bedroom is a bunk room with a set of bunk beds, daybed with trundle, smart TV, and blackout curtains. Above the arcade room is the second master suite. You'll find a spacious room with king-sized bed, smart TV, and a full bathroom with tiled shower and Jacuzzi tub. Note: this part of the house was built as a mother-in-law suite, so there's no bedroom door. There is a door between the arcade room and the rest of the home that you can lock if desired. Outside, relax on the covered front porch or large, sunny back deck, or get moving with a yard game. We've got bag toss (cornhole), ladder toss (swingball), giant Jenga, badminton, volleyball, and a basketball hoop & balls. When you get hungry, fire up the gas grill! Just down the road at the ferry landing, you'll find a great public beach. We've got you covered with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, metal can coozies, a cooler, backpack cooler bag - and a wagon so you can give your arms a break. We provide all bed linens and towels, as well as a supply of paper products (toilet paper, tissues & paper towel), shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, jetted-tub safe aromatherapy pods, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and basic cleaning supplies.
