Peace, privacy, and a little magic in the trees. Dog-friendly too, so your four-legged companion can join the adventure. The space Like its sister retreat Skapya, Kalmynsi is designed as a gentle, flowing space. Its long, curved interior creating a sense of calm from the moment you step inside. It’s a place to slow down, switch off, and settle into something quietly special. The open-plan kitchen is sleek and beautifully equipped, with a black Neff induction hob and combi oven, perfect for cooking a relaxed, romantic meal. Just beyond, the Scandi-inspired living space invites you to unwind: sink into the Graham and Green sofa or armchair, curl up on the Big Bertha beanbag, and enjoy the soft glow of the Ekol log burner (complete with oven and hot plate). Whether it’s music on the Bluetooth LP player or a film on the Smart TV with superfast WiFi, everything is set for cosy evenings in. When it’s time to rest, the separate bedroom offers a peaceful retreat at the end of the treehouse. The king-sized bed, dressed in naturally soft linen from the Chalk and Pink Linen Company, is a space made for deep, uninterrupted sleep. In the morning, step out onto your private balcony and wake gently with the sounds of birdsong. The shower room is designed to refresh and revive, featuring a drenching rainfall shower, heated towel rail, WC, basin, and organic, ethical toiletries for an added touch of care. What truly sets Kalmynsi apart is your private outdoor space, ‘Valley View’. Here, you’ll find a deep soak hot tub and firepit BBQ, perfect for long, unhurried evenings under the open sky, whether you’re stargazing or simply enjoying the quiet of the valley. Guest access From the gravelled parking area, there is a single step and a gentle slope leading to the treehouse via an otherwise level pathway. At the entrance, there is a very small step (approximately 5 cm) into the treehouse. Once inside, all living spaces are conveniently arranged on a single level. Outside, guests can enjoy the private patio and woodland surroundings, accessed by a pathway that combines gravel and woodchip surfaces. There are a couple of steps leading onto the patio area, and a few additional steps provide access to the hot tub. Other things to note We have a portable barbecue, picnic basket and rugs which you are free to use to enjoy Cornwall's outside spaces.
