Guest suite in Los Olivos

We offer a peaceful respite from everyday life. Park your car for the weekend, and enjoy yourself. The bed is big and luscious. The bathroom is ample. There's a private dressing area, a zoom room, a courtyard for dining, and an additional dedicated seating area in a sun-spangled exotic garden. We are in walking distance from 32 wine tasting rooms, 3 vineyards, and 3 good restaurants. FYI: We use unscented cleaning products and the suite is always pet-free ( our sensitive guests need to know). The space I love textures, so the bedding is French linen and the carpet is Berber wool. The effect is relaxed and pleasing to touch. The bathroom has a separate water closet and a set-up for your coffee or tea. Just outside the double slider glass doors is a small courtyard with a refrigerator, microwave, granite-top wetbar, and bistro table to enjoy a snack or check your email. There is a sandstone garden path, which is lit at night, leading from your driveway to the courtyard. Along that path is a lovely place to have a glass of wine in the evening. You'll be in the company of towering palms, a curtain of Spanish moss, and, if you're lucky, you'll see the resident owl swoop out for his sunset hunt. We are situated on a private, tree-lined, residential cul-de-sac, so it's quiet and safe, and only five blocks from town. Guest access Guests park in a dedicated driveway (just before the sky blue mail box). You follow a short garden path which is well illuminated at night, into a small courtyard that is framed by a wood fence. The lockbox is located to the left of the slider door. Other things to note We provide organic dark roast coffee, teas, snacks, breakfast fixings, a bottle of Pence sauv blanc (yummy!), bottled and filtered water, essential cooking equipment, bathrobes, slippers, umbrellas, a hair dryer, hair and hygiene products, night lights, reading lamps, and an iron. We can provide a high-quality Japanese floor futon if you have a 3rd person (10 years old and above, please) and secure bike storage. Let us know in advance if you'd like our help arranging any special services such as horseback riding, massage, or bike rentals. Be advised that the bathtub is deep and the wall is 26" high. It may pose a problem for some people to get over, although we have grab bars in place. Also, there are two small steps on the path from the driveway to the threshold of the room. It's well lit, but something to be aware of to avoid tripping. We welcome ALL guests who are responsible and considerate. We don't care what team you play for, what your stripes are, or where you're from. If you're good people, we want you to relax & enjoy yourself.
