View-a-licious mountain retreat!

Change your altitude to change your attitude! Sit on the back porch of this mountain home and enjoy stunning mountain and lake views. Set your own pace. Take the short drive down the mountain to Lake Chatuge to kayak or hike. Or just veg out with the smart TV and high speed internet. Main floor has 2 bed/2 bath. Finished basement with 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with queen bunks and 1 full bathroom. Plenty of restaurants close by or cook in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen. The space It's a beautiful house with amazing views in the mountains. The main floor is has a spacious living area, dining area with a large table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is well sized with an island with 3 bar stools and gas stove. The best part is the A line windows that lend to a magnificent view. There's a large master bedroom with a bathroom and walk in shower. There is a cozy secondary bedroom with a king bed and secondary bathroom with tub/shower combo. There is also a good sized laundry room with washer and dryer on main floor. The back porch is our favorite part. It's wide and expansive with plenty of seating and beautiful views. Going downstairs there's a large finished basement with 2 bed/1 bathroom. One room has a King bed and pine and groove wall and the other has 2 queen over queen bunks. The house is geared towards relaxation. There's a game room in the basement with air hockey, fooseball and a variety of board games as well as a large TV and fireplace. We love making a charcuterie board and sitting on the porch looking at the view. Our kids entertain themselves on the porch or explore around the outside of the house or play in the basement. We provide board games, books and a smart TV if you decide to stay in. If not, your close to hiking trails, the lake or take the 30 minute drive to explore Helen, Ga. There is a Solo Stove Yukon firepit to enjoy the view when the air is crisper. Camping chairs are provided for your convenience. No smoking or drug use please. Guest access The main floor with two bedrooms and basement has 2 bedrooms. There is also a shed on the property where the garbage can will be there (so that bears and other animals cannot get to it). There are 2 locked closets in the basement that functioning as the keeper's closet with supplies for the cleaning services etc that guests will not have access to. Other things to note Solo stove smokeless firepit provided on site with camping chairs for your convenience. Enjoy the winter months and all the mountain views. We are just up the mountain from Lake Chatuge. There's kayaking and paddle boarding a short ride away, perfect for a family summer vacation with adventures for all!
