The beach is popular for walking and fishing especially early morning at sunrise. Also, the beach suits strong swimmers only. For safe swimming, head south (approx 15-minute walk) to Short Point in Merimbula. Other facilities from there are: a viewing platform overlooking a good stretch of Tura Beach; a popular short walking trail with more breathtaking views of the area; a mobile coffee shop; toilets and a carpark.
