The Carriage House is situated behind our brick Tudor home on Mulberry Street, just 4 minutes off I-65. A stunning marble shower room dominates the space, with a rain head and room for two. The shower is vaulted with a light and tiled in marble, fitted with a chrome rain head and hand wand, shelving for your products, and a shaving rest. You’ll find oversized bath towels, comfortable amenities, a huge sink mirror, bright lighting, vent fan, and hanging hooks behind the door. A quiet, cozy bedroom with luxurious queen bed is across the hall. It features luxury linens, a down mattress topper and comforter, and a selection of soft and firm pillows. Ceiling lighting and a bedside lamp, a mahogany rotational ceiling fan, big window with privacy blinds, fur bedside rug, and battery-operated candles give you rest and ambiance. Just down the hall, relax in the living area with a leather loveseat and digital all-season fireplace. The wheeled side table can be moved where you like, a stuffed ottoman keeps the remotes and coasters close, and Roku TV streams your favorite apps over complimentary WiFi. Or sit at the glass-topped desk, set up your laptop, and charge your devices at the nearby outlets. A mahogany rotational ceiling fan and dual-zone dimmable ceiling lighting set the mood. The living space opens into the kitchen. Full size appliances: refrigerator & freezer with ice maker, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stovetop and oven. A granite bar with barstools for two lets you enjoy the morning light that fills the room from two huge windows, fitted with privacy blinds. Find wine glasses, mugs, plates, silverware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils in the cabinetry. The crystal pendant over the bar and ceiling lighting, with the open view to the living area gives you a place to relax and linger. The entry door with keyless check-in opens into the kitchen. Pull up the driveway behind our house to your private entrance. The porch light will be on for you! We have a little café & coffee shop just 2 blocks away, and a pizza & wings place that will deliver. If you want to go out, check out our photos for area attractions and day trips. Take a 10 minute drive to Lewisburg, 15 minute drive to Pulaski, 40 minute drive to Columbia, 50 minute drive to Franklin, 60 minute drive to Nashville or Huntsville. We always have and continue to keep our Carriage House clean and sanitized for your peace of mind: after each stay, all handles, switches and remotes are disinfected, linens and towels are changed for ones freshly washed, every surface is wiped clean with disinfectant, and in addition we run an ionized air sanitizer throughout the space. Guest access The designated parking space, the small brick front porch, and the inside spaces of the Carriage House are the only spaces accessible to guests. We have an outdoor seating area you are welcome to use anytime! No smoking in the Carriage House. You are welcome to smoke outside; an ash tray is provided in the seating area. If you will be parking more than one vehicle, you will need to notify us so we can make arrangements for your parking. Other things to note Our outdoor tabby cats, Louis and Cappuccino, like to nap any place there’s sunshine. Our two Nigerian Dwarf goats, Phineas and Ferb, and our Golden Laced Wyandotte chickens live inside the picket fence in the yard next to the Carriage House. Our pets are all tame and friendly and will give you your space or welcome a hello! There is a crock of animal crackers on top of the fridge if you’d like to feed Phineas & Ferb.
