Route 66 Retreat is a newly renovated 2 bed 1 bath with modern amenities while maintaining some of it's 1940's charm. It's the perfect place to stay for any of the nearby wedding venues, a getaway to Six Flags/Hidden Valley, or somewhere to stay while competing in a dog show at Purina Farms. The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in is the spacious feel from the well lit 9.5 foot ceilings and the open concept in the living area.  The full kitchen offers almost any cookware you will need and a fridge big enough for your leftovers from any of our great local restaurants.   The dining room easily seats 4-5 people as well as the living room with the bar stools at the counter.  You’ll also notice the cabinet with many board games to choose from. Each bedroom has a queen bed, night stand, TV, and an area to get ready for the day.  They also have large closets for your clothes.  The bedroom to the south includes blackout shades.  The bathroom is smaller but still fully functional with a tub and shower. The large wrap around front porch has a propane fire pit and dining table surrounded by party lights if you enjoy sitting outside.  The back yard is large enough to enjoy yard games or let your pets and/or children play. The house is located within walking distance of Pacific’s growing downtown area.  Get out and enjoy some BBQ, Pizza, Coffee, Sandwiches and more.  Be sure to check out the new Cigar Vault and bar as well! The TVs in the bedrooms are Roku Smart TVs and the TV in the living room has a Roku installed. They will be able to log into your streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video. We do not currently have Cable. Rental Agreement is provided. There is a railroad track about 4 blocks away which can sometimes be heard. This will be true with any place in Pacific though. Keypad entry. We prefer to use the app or platform chat to communicate. Locate just off Old Route 66 in Pacific. From Eureka/Six Flags exit: Turn south towards south outer road At stoplight, Head west on Business Loop 44 for 2.4 miles Continue onto Historic Rte 66/I-44 Loop/E Osage St for another 2.2 miles Turn right onto N 4th St.  (It is the first right after the big bluff covered in chainlink fence.) From Pacific exit (if on westbound 44): Exit highway and turn left under overpass At stoplight, turn left onto W Osage St. for 0.8 miles Turn left onto N 4th St. (It is the road immediately after Osage Dental and Orris Family Chiropractic.)
