Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, our handcrafted pod offers a peaceful escape on our working family farm, with sweeping views across the upper Severn Valley. Blending rustic charm with cosy comfort, it’s the perfect place to slow down and unwind. Soak in your private wood-fired hot tub at sunset, explore footpaths from your doorstep, and discover the beauty of Montgomeryshire. With just one pod on site, you’ll enjoy complete privacy and exclusive use throughout your stay. The space The pod is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchenette features a two-ring electric hob, combination microwave oven, kettle, toaster and fridge, along with ample crockery, cutlery and glassware. Inside, you’ll find a cosy double bed, underfloor heating for year-round comfort, and your own private outdoor space with seating and a wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub is a true highlight — wonderfully soothing, with sweeping views of the sunset and, on clear nights, a sky full of moonlight and stars. Bedding and towels are provided. We recommend bringing flip-flops and an additional towel or bathrobe for use with the hot tub. The bathroom includes a shower, sink and flushing toilet. There is no WiFi at the pod, though there is usually good 4G signal — a perfect opportunity to switch off, unwind and enjoy the birdsong and peaceful countryside. The wood-fired hot tub is managed by guests during their stay, adding to the authentic experience. Clear instructions are provided, and we’re always happy to offer guidance if needed. A generous supply of wood is included for the duration of your stay; however, if additional wood is required beyond this, a small charge will apply. Please do not use coal in the hot tub fire. Coal creates excessive soot and debris in the water, and the fire grate is not designed for burning coal. If coal is found to have been used you will be charged for the chimney to be professionally cleaned and an extra cleaning charge for the hot tub. A single-use disposable BBQ with stand and utensils is available to hire for £10, covering cleaning costs. Please request this at the time of booking. Late check-out may be available at £10 per hour, up to a maximum departure time of 12pm. The pod borders a neighbouring maize and sunflower field, which is open to the public during August and September from 10am–5pm. Some low-level noise may occasionally be heard during these times.
