Description
Set in the picturesque Welsh countryside, this Craftsman-built pod is based on a working farm with stunning views down the upper Severn valley. Stay with us on our family farm and unwind watching the sunset with your own wood fired hot tub, with footpaths on your doorstep and the delights of Montgomeryshire waiting for you to explore. Moat Farm Glamping was newly developed in 2022 and currently you will have exclusive use of the site! We look forward to welcoming you! The space The pod has a fully equipped kitchenette with 2 ring electric hob, microwave combined oven, kettle, toaster and fridge, along with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. A double bed, underfloor heating and outdoor space with seating and wood fired hot tub. The hot tub is wonderfully relaxing with extensive views towards the sunset and the moon and stars on a clear night. Bedding and Towels are provided. We recommend you bring flip-flops and your own towel or bathrobe for the hot tub. The bathroom features a shower, sink and a flushing toilet. There is no Wifi at the property (although there is usually good 4G mobile phone signal). Enjoy the birdsong and getting back to nature! We have a single use disposable BBQ available to hire with a stand and utensils, £10 and allows for the cost of cleaning the bbq. Please book at the time of booking. It may be possible to get a late check out, there will be a fee of £10 an hour but late check out can be no later than 12pm. One field that the pod joins with is a field of maze and sunflowers that is opened to the public during August/September. Opening hours are 10am - 5pm, weather dependent, 6 days a week, closed Wednesdays during the school holidays and just weekends during September, 10am - 5pm. There may be some low level noise during open hours. Other things to note Please note, we are based on a working farm and the neighbouring fields are also working farms. The fire for the hot tub is looked after by yourselves. Should you need any guidance, just ask but there are instructions that you can read. There will be enough wood for the duration of your stay, should you burn through it all, then you will be charged for any more.
