Located on the first floor of an old country home, 10-minute walk from the old town's center (or 5 by car), complete with original ceiling wood beams and local art on the walls, this apartment has been recently renovated with particular attention to the new kitchen, bathroom and terrace. The space The apartment is located on the first floor (two flights of stairs - the second is a bit steep) of an old country house built in the 1800s. When the house was built, this was considered "country" in Lucca, however it is now a mere 10-minute walk to the historical town center. We just renovated the unit with a new kitchen, bathroom and terrace and it's ready for your enjoyment. There are two bedrooms - one larger and one smaller, (the apartment sleeps 4) and a large bathroom with an oversize shower and washing machine. There's A/C in every room except for the attic. The terrace is decorated with outdoor furniture (sits up to 6 people) and a large umbrella. You can enjoy expansive views on the lucchesi and pisane hills as well as the old town's church bell towers. Guest access You can enjoy the entire apartment as well as the assigned parking spot. Other things to note All linens and basic supplies are provided with each stay. Casa Barbara is a 10-minute walk to the Lucca Summer Festival location.
