Winter is happening in Vermont and we would love to host your trip. More than "just another Airbnb" the Birch & Berry Inn and Farm is a quintessential Vermont country inn and farm. An easy drive to Burlington, local colleges, UVM and the Airport with hiking, and recreational activities close by. The inn is walking distance to Hinesburg restaurants, shops, and breweries. We have friendly goats who love visitors. We can also offer "special packages" such as wine upon arrival, just ask! Our inn has a shared common room where you will find a fancy espresso/coffee/latte maker for your enjoyment, DVDs, games, and books. We also put out the occasional baked good and treats and offer a hot cocoa/tea station on those chilly Vermont days. We are located in town, but on an expansive 4 acre lot with walking paths, gardens, chickens and 3 resident goats (Gari, Perry and Ollie). Come enjoy all that we have to offer at a great rate. Guest access Each guest room is private with its own tiled bathroom, heat and AC, TV, and coffee maker. Guests also have access to a shared "great room" where we offer a self-serve coffee bar and a collection of books and DVDs for your enjoyment. The great room was created to offer a relaxing environment for that first cup of coffee in the morning or to unwind in at the end of the day and perhaps mingle with other guests. For your convenience we also offer a few items for purchase including soft drinks, seltzer and bottled water and a snack corner with various goodies available. The Inn is located on a 4 acres property in Hinesburg where we operate a small, but growing berry and flower farm. The property is open to guests for walking, berry picking in season, cross country skiing in the winter, or just relaxing by Patrick Brook along the back of the property where you may see a beaver, Great Blue Heron and more. And, you should plan to visit with the resident goats who adore visitors. Other things to note The Birch & Berry Inn is also environmentally friendly. We are solar powered with high efficiency heat pumps for AC/heating, we use environmentally safe cleaning product, locally produced soaps and shampoos, and much of the inn was built using locally sourced materials. Even our mattresses our environmentally friendly, made in Italy completely free of substances harmful to humans or the environment, and they are really comfy!
