Step back in time at this quiet, 1779, rural Farmstead. View our lovely and diverse gardens, wander the field, or walk the wooded trails. (Snowshoe or nordic ski in the winter). Meal prep in your efficiency kitchen, or enjoy our favorite local restaurants (as close as 5 min. away by car). We can be a destination, a home base for vacationers eager to explore nearby attractions, or a temporary home to business/temp. workers. A multi-generational family, we welcome guests from all walks of life. The space Kick back with a good book, play board games or watch a good movie from your laptop with our wifi. Delight in our locally roasted coffee, enjoy the view from the stone patio (or the hot tub), walk, snowshoe, or ski our fields and trails, relax at the fire pit on a calm day, observe our gardens, socialize with our dogs, cat, and chickens, and watch for wildlife. Because this is our home and for safety reasons, no additional visitors are allowed without prior permission from the Host. (They will be asked to leave.) Guest access This main floor room contains a recliner, a mini refrigerator, a mini freezer, a microwave, a 2-burner electric stove, dining dishes, pots and pans, dish towels, cleaning agents, a LatteGo coffee machine, coffee, and a small selection of teas. The efficiency items are in the separate office room where there is also a printer and shredder. Your private bathroom has a shower, no tub. and is equipped with handrails, a shower seat and an adjustable shower head. Entry to the house/main floor requires one to three steps up. Other things to note If you DO wish to receive our substantial continental breakfast, please indicate when making reservations. This breakfast is an additional $12.00 per person per day (children 6 and under eat for free). Breakfast consists of muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones or popovers (or some combination of these) with our farm fresh, hard-boiled eggs, fruit (whenever possible: fresh from our farm and grown using organic methods), home-made granola and fine local yogurt. Pack-n-play or roll-away bed for a child are available upon request for an additional $12 per day. Events are not permitted at this time. No additional guests are allowed without prior permission from the Host.
