The Platte River is just steps away from the front porch. The river depth will fluctuate at different times of the year. The lake is around 30' deep in place, perfect to cool off in or fish(icefish)etc. We ask that all guest be cautious around the water and enter at own risk. We ask our guest to respect the neighbors and stay only on the property of the cabin. Thank You!! Gans Lake is located just off highway 81 on a private gravel road. The road to get to the cabin is on a no outlet road, so there wont be much traffic. The lots on Gans Lake are pretty small so parking is limited. Guest will have enough parking for 4 full size vehicles.
