Offering my personal peaceful Milwaukee home on the Milwaukee river just minutes from downtown. Wanna get your nature on while visiting Milwaukee? Fish right from the backyard. Have a fire inside or out, hot tub it, enjoy a hot outdoor shower, watch the deer, river otters, mink, beaver, bald eagles, song birds galore. All this just a $20 Uber ride to downtown for dinner and drinks. One bedroom with a king bed. This is my home, so I do have some closets and dressers with my stuff in it. Bedroom has the views of the forest and river. House is surrounded by trees and nature. Real private. The house is in a neighborhood, so there are houses around, but they are not on top of my house. One close neighbor to west, but I built a big log wall to separate us. You won’t see them unless you are on the driveway or down closer to the river. They are rarely outside and they are super nice if you were to see them. No blinds or curtains in the house. The only people that could possibly see in the house are way across the river, so don’t worry about them. Just enjoy having an unobstructed view of nature outside. I don’t like to cover windows, but will add them in bedrooms if people start requesting them in the future. Sonos sound system is throughout house for your music listening pleasure. Enjoy fire pit outside in summer and fireplace inside during the cold months. I have one paddle board that you can use. It can hold 300 lbs so two can fit if you guys are small enough. You can launch right from the house. It’s real nice just paddling around for 30 minutes during sunset or whenever. You can paddle down to Lincoln Park and paddle back up stream if you want a little workout. Takes a good 90 min to do the trip and it’s not hard at all. Just need a little muscle to get back up river. You can bring your bikes. I have a nice Trek tandem bike for rent if you’d like. The oak leaf trail is a bike trail and is right by the house, so you can take that all the way to downtown or even bike to a Brewers game! Easy mountain bike trails are just a mile away too. If you want to fish, I have fishing gear that you can rent as well. Bass and northerns are caught during summer months. Big salmon in early fall. And steelheads and brown trout in late fall through spring. If you want to experience Milwaukee, but yet would like a relaxing peaceful nature getaway that is just 10 min drive to downtown…this is the spot! Will be adding a third bedroom and sauna in the future. Whole house access, except garage and basement. I will personally check you in and show you around. Quiet family neighborhood. One close neighbor to the west, but separated by a big log wall out back. All other neighbors are either far across river or on the other side of the mini park across the road. Parking for 2 cars in driveway. Bike path to downtown in a half mile away from house. And canoe the river to get downtown too. And lots of Uber availability as it’s only 10 minutes to downtown. Uber is usually only $20 each way.
