Suminski Innski - Room 3 Queen bed/ shared bath
The Suminski Innski is a 3-storied 19th century mansion, located on the Hudson River. A great place for writers, artists, musicians, hikers, and friends. Room 3 is a beautiful big room with a queen bed and french door style windows. Fresh breakfast is provided every morning! Join us on the front porch by Hudson river to watch the sunset in the Catskill mountains, or on the patio for grill & barbecue. This room has a queen sized bed over-looking the garden, and gets nice morning light. It also has a closet, dresser, mini-fridge, comfy chairs, and a desk. It shares a bathroom with Rooms 2 and 4. Breakfast is included and served all morning! Fresh eggs, fruit, bread and other baked goods from the village bakery. The whole house (except for the other bedrooms) is accessible to guests, which includes a kitchen with all the amenities, a dining room, a living room and parlor, a jukebox, a wrap-around porch, back and side yards, a back patio, grill, fire pit, and hammock. The house itself is full of art from local painters and photographers. We have all sorts of instruments around the house as well, including a grand piano. Some other fun, out of the ordinary parts of the space include a painting studio in an enclosed porch, a pool table in the basement, an army-style canvas tent, and a renovated ice-chamber-now-drumming-practice-room. There are also lots of trails around and a place to put in kayaks and canoes in the river right out front! On-site catering is available for parties of up to 50 people. The entire house can be rented for $1350-$1500 a night. A 25% discount is extended to all social workers, veterans, aide workers, care givers, farmers, journalists, cellists and bikini models. The house is walking distance (10 minutes) from the village's 9 different eateries, bars, and bakery. Tivoli is halfway between the Rhinecliff and Hudson Amtrak stations, a twenty minute drive in either direction. It's also a 7 minute drive to Bard College, 10-15 to Red Hook, 10-15 to Germantown, and 20 to Rhinebeck. If you are coming from far away and don't have a car, a taxi, the Loop bus, or the Bard shuttle might be your best bet. From the house, Tim or the other folks helping out, are sometimes able to give people rides up into the village or to nearby locations like Bard's campus. All of the rooms are accessible only via stairs. Our most accessible room is a studio apartment on the ground level. We allow long-term rentals, so the rooms on the third floor are occupied by long-term residents from September-May. The second floor is reserved entirely for B&B guests. We try our best to maintain quiet hours from 10 PM - 9 AM.
