You'll be downtown, yet on a quiet street, allowing you to explore galleries, shops, restaurants, breweries, theatres, museums, Central Market, and more before retreating to a comfortable, peaceful home, decorated with a mid-century modern vibe. The space This historic downtown home was renovated to showcase an industrial modern style with hardwood flooring, exposed pipes and beams, and corrugated metal accents. We've collected authentic mid-century modern furnishings, art, and decor from local sources to perfectly mesh with downtown Lancaster's artsy vintage vibe. The open-concept first floor features an inviting living room, dining room, and well-appointed kitchen with bamboo cabinetry -- the perfect space to gather with friends for a meal and conversation. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals, and you may even find fresh herbs in the courtyard and salad dressings in the fridge. From here you can also enjoy our turntable, album collection, bluetooth speaker, and a TV. Also on the first floor you'll find the black and white bedroom with adjustable desk should you have work to do; a half bath and laundry room are across the hall. Up an easy flight of stairs is the main bedroom, with a luxury bath, whirlpool tub, walk-in closet, and balcony access. This space is also decorated in a mid-century style. The second full bath is on this floor and just across the hall from the third bedroom, with its cozy "nook" bed, balcony access, and a boho-chic vibe. The balcony is a peaceful spot for morning coffee, an al-fresco meal, or an evening glass of wine. A Keurig is available on this level for a hot drink refill any time. And now we come to The Jam! This space is in the basement, so do watch the clearance with low pipes. Once there you'll find a comfy sitting area with a fold out sofa bed, a second TV, a selection of puzzles, games and coloring books, and our jam space, complete with guitars, an amp, and a djembe drum! Guest access You'll have access to the entire home, including 2 parking spaces, an open concept living space, 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms with high-quality mattresses, a luxury master bath, plus another bath and a half, a large private balcony, the courtyard, and the bonus space in the basement which we refer to as "The Jam," perfect for hanging out, board games, puzzles, TV, or jamming on the guitars. Other things to note Our older home has some creaky wooden floor boards. We do provide ear plugs if these are bothersome at night. The 4th bed is in the basement area in the form of a comfortable foldout sofa.
