A charming semi-detached cottage with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside towards the River Clyde and the mountains beyond including Ben Lomond. Located in a tranquil setting above the village of Langbank nestled on the fringes of a mature woodland shared only with two neighbours. With excellent links, both road and rail to Glasgow city centre -10 minutes to the airport and an easy drive to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and onto the rest of the highlands of Scotland. The space The ground floor of the property consists of a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room and a large family bathroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms; a master bedroom with ensuite and a double bed, a front bedroom with a king size bed and the third bedroom has a single bed with a pull out bed which can act as two singles if required. The rear of the property has stunning views over the River Clyde looking northwards onto the highlands of Scotland. Guest access Guests will have access to all rooms within the property Other things to note The M8 motorway is a two minute drive from the house and this gives easy acces to Erskine bridge which is 5 minutes away, Glasgow airport which is 10 minutes away, Glasgow city which is 20 minutes and Edinburgh 90 minutes. Crossing the Erskine bridge would be your gateway to the highlands with easy drives to Loch Lomond - 30 minutes, Aberfoyle and the Trossachs - 50 minutes, Arrochar - 45 minutes, Glencoe- 120 minutes, Oban - 120 minutes and Fort William - 140 minutes: all of these are possible day trips. If you head West down towards Gourock and Wemyss Bay you can take the ferry to Dunoon or Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. This property makes an outstanding base, and is ideally situated if you wish to explore the surrounding areas. Taxis - From the property are non existent as extremely unreliable. It is possible to get a taxi to the property but please do not in anyway rely on taxis to get to and from the property.
