This beautifully renovated, 200-year-old home in the center of downtown Jim Thorpe is perfect for your summer, winter, spring, or fall vacation. Amenities include a spacious kitchen, washer/dryer, dining table for eight, WiFi. The space The home has three spacious bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king bed, a room with two twins, and a room with two twins and a queen. There's also a sofa bed in the living area, which can be closed off with a pocket door. Each floor has a bath—one with a shower and washer/dryer and one with a tub. While we have a space that can fit 8 comfortably, we have a well-appointed home that is set up primarily for families or friends looking for a place for sleep and meals. We hesitate to rent it to any group who are using it as a social gathering / party center because it is above a shop, in close proximity to neighbors, and simply not set up for parties (the kitchen / living room is set up for meals, not hanging out). Other things to note We offer streaming TV/movies and have board games and DVDs on hand. The house is just two blocks from two outfits that rent bikes, at least three different ice cream shops, and the scenic railroad.
