Home Base in Downtown Jim Thorpe

This beautifully renovated, 200-year-old home has everything you'll need for your Jim Thorpe vacation, and it is perfectly located on the town's historic main street—just a short walk from dozens of restaurants, shops, museums, bars, and art galleries. The two-story rental features three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with a dining table for eight, plenty of DVDs and games, and other amenities. We also offer ample advice on ways to take advantage of this fabulous area. The space The three bedrooms include a large bedroom with a king bed on the main level and two upstairs rooms—one with two twin beds, and the other with two twins and a queen bed. There is a bathroom on each level as well. The combined dining and living space features a well-supplied kitchen, a dining table that seats eight, and a sitting area with a sizable collection of DVDs and board games. The property faces both Broadway and Race Street and is accessed via a set of stairs leading up to a deck. While our home can comfortably fit eight people, the layout and amenities are best suited for families or small groups of friends looking for a place to primarily rest and enjoy meals together. Because it sits in the middle of the historic downtown, above a shop and abutting neighbors, it would not be a good fit for groups aiming to use it as home base for a rowdy celebration. Other things to note This rental comes with up to three parking spaces—a true boon in the downtown area, where parking is scarce! The house is stocked with books, games, puzzles, and a wide selection of DVDs to entertain guests of all ages.
