WELCOME CAMPERS, PETS, HUNTERS, ATV RIDERS, FISHERMAN, BOATERS, AND HIKERS! If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, and Wilson State Park is full, this is the perfect place for you! Our 3 bedroom cabin is campground/state park themed, and has a large outdoor fenced yard, firepit, lots of parking for your boat, camper, RV, or ATV, and even two "camping" sites in front, for tent camping. Bring the family and even the dogs and enjoy all that northern Michigan has to offer. The space This former hunting cabin has been in our family and enjoyed for over 30 years. We made some upgrades and added a laundry and master bedroom. We have used and stored boats, ATV's, and several campers at the property and have had extra guests camp in tents out front. We are five minutes from Wilson State Park, Saxton Park, and Budd Lake, with a public access boat ramp. There are 20 lakes within 20 minutes of the property. In the Summer, there is fishing, boating, swimming and hiking. In the Winter, there is skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and snowshoeing. We are near Snow Snake Ski & Golf Resort, and Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park, and Leota Trails, for jeeps, motorcycles and ATV's. And of course there are a variety of hunting seasons. Hiking trails are prevalent throughout Clare and Roscommon County and too many to mention here. The property is on a large corner lot that backs up to a forested area, and Veteran's Memorial Park. We are "pet friendly"! There is a one time $50.00 fee (plus Airbnb added surcharges & taxes) per pet added to the reservation. Maximum of 4 pets. No breed or size restrictions. Pet fees are NOT automatically added to a booking. We just want to make sure guests are informed of this :) Failure to let us know you brought a pet will result in a $50 fee, billed through the resolution center after checkout. We have GREAT internet speeds for remote workers. Download speed: 292.89 Mbps Upload speed: 11.13 Mbps Need an early check-in or late checkout? We will accommodate you upon request, if possible. There will be a $25 charge ( plus Airbnb added surcharges & taxes) added to the reservation. Traveling nurse, or remote worker interested in a long term stay? We are happy to do so. Please contact us regarding special access and terms regarding longer stays. Guest access The entire cabin is yours! The shed is not available for use by guests. Other things to note You are welcome to park, and use campers, RV's, boats or other personal watercraft, snowmobiles, and multiple vehicles while on the property.
