'The Barn' - Spacious barn in pretty canal village

Enjoy the lovely setting of this edge of village location, very close to the Grand Union Canal in the picturesque village of Braunston. Come and see what makes this part of Northamptonshire so special! Fabulous country dog walks along the canal towpath from the end of the drive. Just a short walk from several village and canalside pub restaurants. The village has a general store and post office, and an award winning butchers. Our comfortable barn is the perfect base to explore the area. The space Our comfortable barn sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms. Both have super king beds, one can be split into 2 single beds. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over, with an additional shower and wc downstairs. The property has central heating radiators throughout. The open plan living area has a defined kitchen and lounge. The lounge has a smart TV. The kitchen and utility areas have all mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. At the heart of the kitchen you will find a traditional farmhouse table and chairs. The hallway has a small children's play area. A welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jam, cereal and eggs etc Is provided. We also provide kitchen basics such as salt/pepper and cooking oil (though with our new pans you shouldn’t need any!) All necessities are covered such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Just bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush (though we even have spares of those). The barn has been recently renovated and tastefully furnished and has Wi-Fi. Outside you will find a private rear garden which is securely fenced, with a large decking area with garden furniture. The barn has it's own private front and rear doors. Ample guest parking for two cars. Guest access We live just next door across the courtyard. You will be able to access the courtyard at the front of the barn. The barn has it's own front door. You will have your own private garden at the rear. Other things to note Please note in addition to the main staircase up to the first floor, the barn has some steps internally and externally. A maximum of 2 medium sized, well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry no cats. We live on the premises next door and should be there to welcome you. Occasionally we may have to go out and there is a key safe where we can leave the key for you if necessary.
