That it is a newly built house and opened in the spring of 2021, it stands on the site of Nyoganji, a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect in Hirano-ku, Osaka. Subaru-an is a newly built two-story wooden house which blends both modern and traditional japanese style, using tatami mats, sliding doors, and various antique fixtures. The space Subaru-An consists from 3 guest rooms,they are all suites. On the 1st floor is the luxury guest suite named the “Matsu” room. Matsu means Pine in Japanese. On the 2nd floor are 2 suite rooms named the "Ume" (Plum) room and the “Take” (Bamboo) room. Each suite is able to be individually locked and secure from the rest of the house. **** The Take (Bamboo) guest room, 38㎡ can accomodate up to 4 guests. Accomodation consists of a dining room including a dining table (seats 4 people), and a mini-kitchen equipped with fridge,microwave, toaster, kettle and tea set. The bedroom with tatami floor can accomodate 3 guests. and the sofa can also be used as a single bed. There is a toilet, shower unit, and wash basin. We d like to have your request message about a breakfast of shōjin (vegetable dishes), and a catered dinner after confirming your room reservation. Nearby is the 24-hour convenience store 7-eleven and a supermarket is only 5 minutes away by foot. There are izakaya and some restaurants around the station within a 10-minute walk. Guest access Public space: the laundry room and balcony are located on the 2nd floor. The front door of the house has an auto-lock system and can be unlocked with a passcode. Security cameras are installed in the communal areas such as the entrance hall, and corridor. Other things to note ***About the adjoining Ume room and Take room on the 2nd floor: Each kitchen is separated by a sturdy partition wall which can be opened to accomodate groups of up to 10 people if booking both rooms during the same dates. We will unlock and open the partition so that it will be one large hall and 2 bedrooms. Please note>> Normally the partition wall is locked and absolutely secure. However in the case that the next room is occupied by another group, sounds might carry through the partition.
