Welcome to Ridley Manor. A gorgeous, warm, intimate property a little gem. Located in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood with some of the most stunning views of Mt Ruapehu. A beautiful, alpine themed home, styled for romantic getaways. Ideally located to explore the local hiking tracks, perfect for ticking the Tongariro Crossing off your 'bucket list'. Shuttle pick up at the gate (needs to be booked), enjoy a soak in hot tub in your private courtyard afterwards. Walkable to restaurants and bars. The space This listing is for two guests. You’ll have access to the rooms and amenities shown in the photos and listed below. There will be locked access to two downstairs areas in the house. The living and relaxing areas are wide open and spacious in Ridley Manor. A corner sofa, bean bags and a rocking chair create comfy spots for lounging. There is also a wood-burning fireplace that’s so-cosy in the colder months. (June-end October) A work space on the mezzanine will keep you up to date with work, if you need to. A brand new deck extension gives a lovely wide, open outdoor flow. Outdoor furniture provides you with the means to enjoy alfresco dining on lovely warm days. A great place to sip your morning coffee and read the paper. Or an alfresco dinner underneath the stars. The soothing hot tub in a secluded corner of your private courtyard is a great spot for soaking sore muscles after a long day hiking, biking or on the snow trails. The master suite features a super king-size bed, and a flat screen Smart TV. The master bathroom ensuite has a step-in shower and white marble vanity. Ridley Manor is the perfect home base for your next trip to Ohakune. Whether you’re coming for outdoor activities or quiet relaxation — or maybe a little bit of both - you’ll be in the perfect spot to soak it all in. OCR (Old coach road) - Grade 3 riding Te Ara Mangawhero stage 1 (stage 2 currently underconstruction) - Grade 2 riding Mangapurua Track/ Bridge to Nowhere - Grade 3 riding Fishers Track – Grade 2 riding Marton Sash and Door trail – Grade 3 riding … to name a few Some of these rides will require a shuttle drop off/pick-up Guest access Guests have access to the rooms and amenities as per the listed photos and descriptions in the listing. There are two downstairs areas that are locked and not available for guest access, they are not used by anyone else during your stay. The doors are locked to prevent access to these areas. Other things to note For the spa, please note that there is no glass or food to be used or consumed while in use. The pool is available for Ridley Manor guests only. For stays of 2 nights or longer the pool will need checking and maintaining, to keep it in a healthy and usable condition. I normally will do this for you, and will endeavour to do it while you are out so as to avoid disrupting your space and privacy, I will message you before I treat the pool. However if you prefer to not have this done please advise me. The fire is unavailable during the summer months, November - June. We do not provide fire wood or fire equipment. We advise guests have travel insurance, sometimes the unexpected happens and refunds will not be given.
