Veterans Park is just a few mile south on Hwy 119, with walking trails, 2 playgrounds, ball fields, dog park, and a skate park. Interstate 65 is within a 10 minute drive, and University of Montevallo, American Village & Shelby Airport are within a 15 mile radius. Guest access All our bedrooms have king beds! We provide 100% cotton sheets and coverlets...all freshly washed after every guest. So comfortable and relaxing, with the main living area a perfect spot for visiting or cooking a memorable meal together. Other things to note Please note: This house is a split-entry, so THERE ARE STAIRS up to the front door, and from the entryway to the main level. All the living area is located on the upper level, EXCEPT the laundry room, which is on the lower floor. We welcome dogs (no cats, please). We charge a $175 pet fee, with a maximum of three dogs per stay. We request name (s) and breed (s) when booking. Our pet fee is for the entire stay. We ask that all our guests list accurately the total number of guests and pets. There is a nightly fee of $25 dollars per additional guest over the number of three. Our wood-burning fireplace is available for use, with permission, from Oct - Feb, for a $25 fee. Just let us know when booking if you would like to reserve use of the fireplace during your stay, and we will send the request through Airbnb as an Extra Service.
