The space The Cedar Cabin is your private luxury cedar retreat in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. Tucked away behind our property with its own garden, it’s a peaceful haven for couples to unwind, reconnect, and soak up the calm of nature. Watch Red Kites soar overhead, spot deer and rabbits in the meadows, or simply relax and breathe in the fresh country air. This charming escape combines serenity with convenience — just 5 miles from Oxford’s historic city centre. Explore Blenheim Palace, wander Bicester Village, discover Diddly Squat Farm, or take a stroll through RSPB Otmoor nature reserve. After your adventures, the cosy village pub, The Abingdon Arms, is only 100m away for fine ales, delicious food, or takeaway pizza. Inside, the cabin is designed for comfort and romance: a double bed with crisp linens, a contemporary living space with sofa bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette including a Nespresso coffee machine. Enjoy breakfast on us with fresh sourdough, jams, cereals, milk, and coffee — the perfect start to a slow, peaceful morning. Modern touches like underfloor heating, mood lighting, fast Wi-Fi, and a 55” 4K TV make it easy to relax together. Enhance your stay with the optional Lay-Z-Spa hot tub for private stargazing, or take a short 2-minute walk to meet our friendly alpacas in the meadow — a charming countryside experience to enjoy together. Parking is secure behind electrically operated gates, with CCTV and 7kW EV charging available by arrangement. Single-night stays are sometimes available Sunday–Thursday during quieter months — just message us at Rest and Retreats and we’ll always do our best to help. Guest access We have secure electrically operated gated access with secure parking and CCTV. Other things to note We have very secure parking, behind electrically operated fine irons gates, CCTV and 7kw EV charging available with prior arrangement. Kitchenette with double induction hob, microwave oven, Vertuo Nespresso, tea/coffee facilities, breakfast and treats to enjoy!
