Built in 1890 this charming Victorian terrace with cast-iron lace detailing is in the heart of Paddington where you'll spot the latest trends in fashion, art, food and wine. Close to public transport with plenty to explore right at your doorstep. We would love to welcome you to historic Paddington and make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The space The property is a beautifully restored 1890 Victorian terrace. The wooden floorboards and original feature fireplaces are complimented by Swarovski crystal chandeliers. The self-contained Impala kitchen is bright and cheerful with a glass ceiling above a beautiful Carrara marble breakfast bar. And if you want to cook you can with integrated European appliances and quality cookware. There is a dining table set for six guests, where you can enjoy a family meal at home. The living space is fitted with a smart TV and soundbar to enjoy movie nights at home. There are three bedrooms within the property all accessible via stairs *which are steep. The master (first level) has a double bed (high quality mattress) luxury linen, A/C and a private balcony. The second bedroom also on the first level has a double bed, luxury linen, A/C and a north facing window with a block out blind. The third bedroom on the second level is a charming attic conversion with twin velux windows (block out blinds) that open towards the north. There is a king single bed, portable A/C and a study desk. Typical of a Victorian terrace the bathroom is on the ground level (toilet, shower and twin sinks). Guest access Guests access this charming terrace using a key safe and have access to the entire property. Other things to note Note: stairs are steep and may be an issue for some guests. We spray for bugs annually inside and out but we also live in a sub-tropical climate so bugs do come in occasionally. This is not an indication of an unclean or unhygenic house - it's just Australia! I am from Ireland and was horrified when I first discovered cockroaches but learned very quickly - Don't leave rubbish out, Dry the sinks and and close the doors after dusk.
