Eingedi Retreat is a 2-star self-catering exclusive establishment, situated on a 530Ha game farm, in the E. Freestate between Ladybrand and Hobhouse. The beautiful views of the Maluti Mountains, together with the wildlife, numerous birds, natural forest, plains, mountains and valleys, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, all work together to create a space of tangible peace, tranquillity and quietness to refresh and restore the body, soul and spirit. We have 2 swimming pools, a playground with swings, a roundabout, large trampoline and exciting new jungle gym; our Jolly Farmyard; domestic animals to be fed and milked; dams for fishing; walks and hikes. Accommodation is offered in a variety of cabins, chalets and cottages, all of which are well equipped for self-catering and have their own private bathrooms. Camping sites with electricity are also available for those who wish to bring along their own camping equipment. We are excited to present Eingedi’s latest addition to what we have to offer, specifically with campers and caravanners in mind: HOLSTEIN ABLUTIONS. These ablutions become a real off-the-grid experience in self-sustainability. They offer a lovely wood stove for those who would like to try cooking the old-fashioned way. They also sport a ‘Rocket’ donkey boiler to heat the water for showering. Wood is provided for both. There are 3 showers and toilets for both, ladies and gents. The ablutions include a lovely spacious washing up area with 2 double basins, 1 deep basin, electric points, trestle tables and chairs. Lovely sandstone braai areas are included; however, portable braais are provided – we sell wood per wheelbarrow load. A large windy-dryer is available to hang wet laundry. There are 8 electrical power points, as well as easily accessible water points throughout the campsite. We are able to host individuals, small and larger groups.
