The Rings is a fully accessible holiday cottage that can take groups of varying sizes. Flexibility has been built in from the start and you can book as many or as few rooms as you wish as areas can be blocked off and used by other groups. Each room has it's own independent access. With two studio apartments that are self contained, the remaining six bedrooms can be used in addition to the dedicated kitchens/seating/dining areas and then become other self contained apartments. The Rings has been specifically designed for accessibility in all rooms. Decking all around the house makes easy access for all. All doors are a minimum of 875 cm with many over 1000 cm. & of the bedrooms have French doors opening outward to the decking and the final bedroom/studio has an entrance door of 1085cm. There are external charging points of scooters & large chairs. Two principle lounge kitchen dining areas are separated by a movable wall which can be opened for larger groups. The Henderson kitchen has a rise & fall worktop which houses the sink and hob. The Topaz studio is also fully wheelchair accessible with a fixed lowered worktop. Pull down clothes rails and colour contrasts all make for easy living. Three of the bedrooms have ceiling tracking hoists and those en-suite wet-rooms also boast a bath, Opal has a Gainsburgh bath with electric seat to enable access to the bath which has a spa feature. All equipment needs to be pre-booked, some are free others a charge is made:-We have two wheeled shower chair, one is rise & fall and tilts. Two profile beds, Ceiling tracking hoist as well as Birdie movable hoist. riser seats for toilets. We have just added a Sidhil inspiration cot. A full list is available on request. Terrain Around Property: The parking area is laid with gravel held in place by grids to ensure easy movement of wheelchairs. There is a hill to overflow car park but parking beside house available on request, particularly for independent wheelchair users.
