We hope you enjoy your visit to Monterey Thank you. Safe Travels The space The Hummingbird House is a three bedroom vacation home that is surrounded by a beautiful Japanese style garden. It's a relaxing peaceful and clutter-free environment that is clean fresh and inviting. A welcoming peaceful and quiet sanctuary for you to rest, relax and unwind. The house has three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, one full bathroom and is surrounded by a beautiful well maintained Japanese style garden with a sitting area in the backyard. It has hardwood floors in the living room, dining room and all three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the other bedroom has two single Japaneses style Futon beds. You will sleep very soundly in this quiet comfortable and relaxing home. The living room includes a rustic stone fireplace, Japanese artwork and is comfortably and elegantly furnished. It includes a TV, WiFi/internet access. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook a meal "at-home" including a well-stocked pantry. The dining room comfortably seats six adults. There are custom-made "Shoji" Screens (door/window covers) installed in the living room, dining room and one bedroom of the house adding to the peaceful Asian aesthetics. The garden area of the Hummingbird is quiet peaceful and inviting. The sitting area here is a favorite of our guests. It's a perfect spot for you to have a cup of coffee or tea in the morning or a little wine at night. This peaceful welcoming home has everything you'll need to make your stay in Monterey a comfortable pleasurable and memorable experience. Rest relax unwind and rejuvenate. The house is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. There is a "Quiet Time" for outdoor activities from 10:00 PM - 9:00 AM. You can still use the garden during this time but please respect the privacy of our neighbors by keeping the noise level down. Thank you.
