The Dome

This Dome home was finished in 2016, as the first residential Dome Home being built in Norway. The architecture is based on Buckminster Fuller`s design, and ordered from a Minnesota (US) based company called Natural Spaces Domes. The main emphasis when building this Dome was to use as much natural building materials as possible for a healthy indoor climate. Mainly wood and Cob (Clay, sand and straw). The Dome is close to Mt.Sandhornet 993m (8km), and Langsand, a beach 2km long. The space The dome is located in idyllic surroundings, with a small stream running through the plot. Outdoor we have a trampoline, various toys for kids, as well as bikes. An inflatable jacuzzi is available, and a gas driven grill.
