The space *Cozy, rustic, private king-size cabin - perfect for couple (extra air bed available upon request) *Large bath w/ tub/shower *Full kitchen w/basic pots, pans, dishes and silverware & dining area *Front porch has grill. *Fire pit *There is an apartment attached to this cabin that is also available through Airbnb. It has it's own private entrance. Wooden fence separates yard space. *You are in the country-you may see deer, turkeys, ants, spiders, raccoons, bats, etc. *Photos were made in the summer...flowers and veggies don't all grow in our area all winter. *Rustic cabin-not perfect-not the Hilton! * The cabin is made of logs and logs are wood. The cabin has that wonderfully unique woodsy smell of nature… unfortunately, some folks are not used to the smell of wood and fireplaces and think it could be other undesirable smells. *Our cabin has scheduled pest and mold service. *Please read complete listing for all details and understand our listing and agree to our polices before booking. Prior approval required. If your pet is approved, there is an additional $25 pet fee due. Owners are 100% responsible for pets and any damages or injuries caused by pets. No barking dogs allowed. Dogs are not allowed on beds. Dogs should stay with owner. Dogs must not be left alone in room unless crated and only crated for very short periods. No pets without prior approval. Other things to note *Please note that we can add an air mattress if needed with advance notice of stay. *One structure-two units. *We always have some outdoor project in the works! Leaf raking, garden planting, fence building, wood chopping, deck building, etc. Yard may be full of flowers or weeds! *This listing is one of two in our neighborhood…both simple, yet charming cottages/cabins located on beautiful Lookout Mountain. *You are in the country...you may see deer, wild turkeys, chickens, spiders, lady bugs, bats, ants, raccoons, palmetto bugs, rabbits, or other country creatures. It's just part of the "charm". *This is not the "Hilton"...this is a home and I am old. I do our very best to make things clean and comfortable, but we don't see well anymore and might miss something, so just know that! Cabins can be dusty even if you just dusted and swept down the walls. Nothing here is new or perfect. Thanks in advance for being understanding. This is a log cabin. It’s rustic and it smells like wood. It needs some paint and other updates. Rental subject to these terms: *NO SMOKING in unit. No butts on ground. *No parties, loud talking, loud music, door slamming or other noice. *Cleaning: So that our home is ready for the next guest as soon as possible, upon departure please: - Return the suite to the condition in which you found it (no need to make beds) - Wash dishes and return to cupboard. - Put used bath linens in basket in closet - Wipe off hair from sink, tub and shower - Place all trash in the outside trash cans in bags - Put things back in the place they were when you arrived -Late check outs or early check ins must be scheduled in advance and with a fee. - Please note that our cleaning service will charge an additional fee ($25 per hour) if the above items are not done. Thank you in advance – from us and the family coming in after your visit! - Towels & Supplies: Basic linens & bath towels are furnished. An initial supply of trash can liners, dishwashing liquid, bathroom tissue and soap is provided. - Maintenance: We will respond as quickly as possible should anything arise. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues, nor for temporary outage of electricity, water, cable or internet. *Hold Harmless: Owner assumes no liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property, nor for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity, internet service or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, injuries, construction nuisances or other reasons beyond our control. We are in the constant process of making this cabin, yard and garden better...but things happen. Things break...storms pass through…weather changes…please be mindful. Airbnb is my life. We are open 365 days, so sometimes we will be involved in projects. Sometimes pictures may look different as we are always upgrading and seasons (weather) is changing. Because we are open 365, life also happens, accidents, deaths, weddings, sickness, etc. We will always do our best to be available, but I am just old human doing the best I can.
